INTECOM is a society of associations of technical communicators, with members in Europe, New Zealand, and North America. Member delegates meet annually, usually in conjunction with a member's conference, to discuss matters of common interest and to plan activities for the following year.
 
INTECOM promotes the profession through international initiatives, provides resources for technical communicators around the world via this Web site, holds Forum conferences at three or four yearly intervals, and conducts special projects to further the interests of our members.   It is looking to play an important part in providing professional support for technical communicators in the "New Europe", countries recently accepted into the EU, and to take care of the growing interest in technical communication in India, the Middle East, and South America.

Individuals, in countries where there is no INTECOM member organisation to which they may belong, will be directed to the nearest INTECOM member organisation to their place of residence.
